Radar station that shields Moscow from ballistic rocket assault


The Russian Ministry of Defense opened the ways to its gigantic Don-2N radar station in the Moscow Region, Tuesday.

The base shields the Russian capital from ballistic rocket assaults.

Head of Combat Programs, Ilgar Tagiev, said that the Don-2N is a one of a kind and “intense, high-potential radio-area unit with centimeter-extend waves.”

According to Tagiev, “it can finish all hostile to rocket barrier undertakings, for instance, bolting on targets and pointing counter-rockets.”
